Description

After many years in prison, a man is released and returns to his old neighborhood, hoping to start a new life away from crime and past acquaintances. However, he finds two teenage sons waiting for him at home, abandoned by their missing mother. The older son has long taken on adult responsibilities, caring for his younger brother and completely distrustful of the suddenly reappeared father. Initially reluctant to stay, the man realizes that if the children come to the attention of social services, they could be separated. To keep the family together, he is forced to pretend to be a responsible father, despite barely knowing how to be one.
