Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles is hosting an important football championship game, drawing a huge crowd of spectators. Captain Peter Holly and his team are monitoring the highest stadium tower, where an armed man is spotted. Their task is to ensure the safety of the event and prevent any threat that could harm the spectators or players. The event's security services notice that the man in the tower has a rifle and poses a potential danger. In an effort to prevent an incident, special forces intervene, trying to scare him and take away his weapon. However, their actions provoke a swift and unexpected reaction – gunfire erupts, causing panic among the gathered crowd. This situation endangers lives and requires urgent response. The action-thriller film is directed by Larry Peerce. It stars Charlton Heston as Captain Peter Holly, John Cassavetes as Sergeant Chris Button, and Martin Balsam as Sam McKeever. The work captures the tense atmosphere of the 1970s, as law enforcement officers face a dangerous situation in a public space where one person's actions can lead to chaos.
