Date Night (2010) – A Couple's Dinner Turns into an Unexpected Mess

Description

Klara and Phil Foster live a quiet, routine life where their relationship has lost its passion. In an effort to rekindle their connection, they regularly plan romantic evenings, usually limited to dinner in the city and a movie at the theater. One evening, faced with a problem regarding a table reservation at a popular restaurant, they decide to take another couple's reserved table, hoping to enjoy a pleasant night. However, their decision unexpectedly leads to serious complications when it turns out that the true owners of the table are a bit indebted to some guys who are unwilling to let debts go unpaid. The Fosters soon find themselves facing unwanted guests, and the situation, which began as a funny mistake, quickly becomes completely unfunny and filled with many surprises. This comedy, action, and adventure film, directed by Shawn Levy, tells the story of an ordinary couple's daily life that is unexpectedly disrupted by one decision. The film stars Steve Carell and Tina Fey as Klara and Phil, with Mark Wahlberg and Taraji P. Henson adding to the story where humor intertwines with unexpected challenges and dangers arising from a simple dinner plan.
