A socially awkward man, released from prison, returns to a society that refuses to understand him and constantly reminds him of past mistakes. His family sees him as a burden, while those around him look on with distrust. Struggling to grasp boundaries, responsibility, and the feelings of others, he unexpectedly meets a woman with severe mobility impairments, living in near-total isolation. Their connection begins awkwardly and contentiously, but gradually, a sincere closeness develops between the two outcasts.
