Description

A lonely man living modestly and searching for his place in the world unexpectedly becomes fascinated by a flock of wild parrots residing in the city's hills. Initially, he observes the colorful birds from a distance, but gradually begins to feed them, recognize them by appearance, and understand their different personalities. Each parrot has its own habits, connections, fears, and place in the complex hierarchy of the flock. Over time, the man becomes a patient guardian, helping injured or weakened birds, despite having no steady income or clear future plans. As he witnesses their friendships, conflicts, mating, and losses, he increasingly realizes the fragility of nature and the animals' ability to feel attachment. However, his closeness to the wild birds raises a complex question: how much can one interfere in their lives, and when does caring begin to limit their freedom? The film warmly and unhurriedly tells the story of the human connection with nature, solitude, responsibility, and the ability to notice the wonder in everyday surroundings. It is a touching true story about a colorful flock that changed one man's life and helped him find community where he least expected it.
